THE PREMIER FISHING CLUB OF WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA

 Welcome! 

We are the premier fishing club of Western North Carolina.  We are also one of the largest Bass Fishing Clubs North Carolina  with 21 members.  Thermal Belt Bass Masters is headquartered in Rutherford County and has a club meeting once a month. We fish a variety of regional lakes which include Lake James, Lake Hickory, Lake Norman, and Lake Wylie. We also fish other lakes and even have "away" two-day tournaments at lakes such as Lake Murray, Lake Hartwell, Lake Russell, Lake Moultrie, Lake Marion, and Smith Mountain Lake which are lakes located in other states. These are wonderful trips that are filled with excitement and challenges. During these fishing trips great techniques, information and advice is freely exchanged to allow each member to grow in their expertise.  Points are awarded based on the position one may finish in a tournament plus the weight of the fish caught and points earned for the attendance of meetings and/or events. These points accumulate for awards at the end of the year.
